Maintain the existing membership structure and selection process for members to serve on the NC State Board of Dental Examiners. The existing process maintains professional integrity and patient care standards by those with firsthand knowledge of the clinical and ethical standards of the profession and provides accountability to the public through qualified, peer-selected professionals.
