What role can dentists play in providing vaccinations for their patients? This webinar addresses why dentists should be considered primary care providers, and how their background makes them well-trained for providing vaccines. Participants will learn about the collaborative process for developing and passing legislation, the additional training recommended for dentists to include vaccinations as part of their scope of practice, and its implementation in the state of Oregon.

Get an overview of the vaccines most likely to be initiated first in dental practice, learn about potential barriers as well as vaccinations amid the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and about current and future opportunities for dentists in the overall healthcare system.
