You can make a difference. In advance of Veteran's Day, the North Carolina Dental Society is partnering with the USO of North Carolina for its Second Annual Dental Supply Drive, collecting toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss and sugar-free gum for our military. These items are provided to service members both when they deploy and when they return home through rack packs – kits that contain health care essentials for men and women in uniform. Our service members receive the supplies when they need the comforts of home the most.
From September 1 to November 1, 2017, we encourage you to participate by collecting dental supplies for our servicemen and women stationed at Ft. Bragg. It’s easy, really. You can participate by:
- donating extra dental supplies from your office,
- making a monetary donation to the USO of North Carolina, or
- encouraging your staff and patients to contribute supplies.
We’ll send you everything you need to know, including a prepaid shipping label to send your donations back to our office. All you need to do is register below.
We need your help to surpass last year’s successful program launch, enabling us to contribute more than 600 lbs. of dental supplies to the USO of North Carolina. Read about last year’s success in the Greensboro News & Record, Wilkes Journal-Patriot and The Stanley News. This year, the two dentists who collect the most dental supplies and donate the most money to this year’s drive will earn a $150 gift card for a team lunch with their staff. Together, we can make an even bigger impact in 2017.
